The addict, 'Mike,' is recorded cruising the borough and shooting the drug in his home. He confessed that he sold his father's laptop for $200 to buy heroin, and that he sports tattoos on his arms to hide his needle marks.

'Scrub' and 'Mac,' the dealers, were profiled wearing masks and/or sunglasses throughout the show to conceal their identities.

Toward the end of the episode, one of the dealers says he's able to increase his profits by spiking a batch of heroin with the explosive drug fentanyl, which could easily kill a user.

Heroin Island, NYC, airs again next Wednesday at 8 p.m.
